UK Nagarathar Sangam NaSa UK regularly conducts two events per year for the members, Tamil New Year event is usually scheduled around April 14th every year and this will give a platform for our kids and adults to exhibit their talents and it also an opportunity socialise with fellow nagarathars in UK
Our Pillayar Nonbu function is usually scheduled on a weekend closer to Pillayar Nonbu, Pillayar Nonbu being an unique event celebrated only by nagarathars, we keep the tradition and use this event not only to pray to Lord Ganesh but also to enjoy the variety of home cooked chettinad food prepared specially by our Achis. This gives an opportunity for our children to get a taste of famous chettinad cuisine.
This year being very different because of the calamity brought to us by the Corona Virus our usual big event in April had to be cancelled, we explored the different ways of working, we wanted to reach out to our people and also collect funds to help the needy during the pandemic, UK Nagarathar sangam (NASA UK) understands the value of the mantra “togetherness is strength” and with this conviction we joined hands with our London Nagarathar Sangam (LNS) to bring the celebrities to your places of comfort
